What we collect

• Account information (name, email address, role)
• Stable and horse management data you enter into the platform
• Documents, photos and media files you upload
• Billing and subscription information
• Technical usage data (page visits, errors, timestamps)

How we use your data

Your data is processed solely to provide, maintain and improve the Hippix service. We never sell your personal data to third parties. Data is stored using trusted cloud infrastructure and appropriate security measures.

Google authentication

Hippix uses Google Sign-In for user authentication. When you log in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password. We use this information only to identify your account and provide access to the platform. Google's own privacy policy applies to the authentication process: policies.google.com/privacy.

Stripe payment processing

Subscription payments are handled by Stripe, Inc. When you subscribe to a paid plan, you are redirected to a Stripe-hosted checkout page. Daalhof BV does not collect or store your card details — all payment information is processed and stored directly by Stripe. We receive only a confirmation of your subscription status. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant. Their privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

Horse data, documents and media

All horse records, health logs, feeding plans, financial data and any documents or photos you upload are stored securely and are accessible only to users within your stable account. Uploaded files (including PDFs, images and videos) are stored on encrypted cloud storage. You retain full ownership of your data at all times. We do not use your horse data for any purpose other than providing the Hippix service to you.

Data export and deletion

You may request a full export of your account data at any time via the Settings page or by contacting us at info@hippix.app. To permanently delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the same address. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Note that we may retain anonymised usage statistics and legally required financial records for a limited period after deletion.

GDPR compliance

Daalhof BV is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as a company established in Belgium. As a data subject, you have the following rights:

• Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
• Right to restriction — request that we limit the processing of your data.
• Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@hippix.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).

Cookies

Hippix uses only essential cookies required for the platform to function. We do not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. The cookies we set include:

• Authentication token — keeps you logged in during your session and across visits if you choose to stay signed in.
• Session state — used internally by the platform to maintain your current session context.

These cookies are strictly necessary. No consent banner is shown because we do not use optional cookies. You can clear cookies at any time via your browser settings, which will log you out of Hippix.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. The date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
